Optical Illusion Unit

These last few weeks we have been studying the artists Bridget Riley and Victor Vasarely. These artist were famous Op artists that transformed the 1960’s art style. Here is the slide show that I showed the students: OP ART PRESENTATION

We started with a collaborative optical art piece and then create personal Victor Vasarely Cubes. We wanted to give a shout out to Mrs. Anderson’s Math class and thank them for their help with the measurements for our Vasarely Cubes. We love integrated subject projects!   Below are the masterpieces the students created. I’m so proud of these fantastic artists!
