Our first project in Foundations of Art 7/8 was Zentangle Squares!
Students were asked to create Zentangle Squares that incorporated rhyme, contrast, pattern, balance, unity/variety, thick and thins lines.
What is a Zentangle?
- A Zentangle is a easy method of creating beautiful images from repetitive patterns.
- It is a fascinating new art form that is fun and relaxing. It increases focus and creativity.
- Zentangle provides artistic satisfaction and an increased sense of personal well-being.
